The site at 10–11 Lower Fairhill, Galway, was archaeologically tested in advance of development, in compliance with planning conditions. The area investigated was roughly 20m north-south by 65m east-west.
Ten trenches were opened throughout the site but no diagnostic archaeological material was recovered.
