Trial-trenching was undertaken at the site in compliance with a condition of planning. Three trenches, with a combined length of 25.5m, were excavated by machine in order to determine the nature and extent of any archaeological features which might exist within the rear yard of the property. No features or finds of archaeological interest were uncovered.
