Features of archaeological interest were observed during construction of a pipeline by Bord Gáis. Investigation took place over a three day period from 8th-10th October 1991. Three pits and part of an enclosing ditch occurred within the pipeline corridor. Sherds of prehistoric pottery were the only artefactual remains.
