An archaeological evaluation was carried out at a site in advance of development. The site is located within 25m of a removed mound (LDY008–002). Five test-trenches were mechanically excavated to the surface of the glacial subsoil. A ditch feature, 1.6m in depth by 3.5m in maximum width, was uncovered, along with a small section of external bank, 0.7m maximum height by 2m. The ditched enclosure’s internal diameter was calculated to be c. 35m. No artefactual evidence was recovered to provide dating evidence for this feature.
