It is proposed to construct a wind farm to consist of six turbines, a control room and substation, an anemometer mast and access trackways at Lough Hill, Drumquin, Co. Tyrone. Monitoring of all ground-penetrating works was conducted between November 2006 and January 2007. The monitoring consisted of the removal of topsoil in three key stages: access road, turbine bases and substation, and cabling. Monitoring revealed no evidence of archaeological features or deposits within the area of the proposed development.
