Test-trenching and an impact statement were undertaken at Truagh, O’Brien’s Bridge, in advance of an extension to a graveyard. The development is within the zone of archaeological potential for a church and graveyard. Four trenches were opened across the proposed area, varying between 5m and 20m in length by 1.5m wide. Nothing of archaeological significance was recovered during the testing.
