Monitoring of the removal of topsoil on a site at Conway House Hotel, Dunmurry, was undertaken prior to the construction of a new housing development. The topsoil was removed from across the entire site, using a mechanical digger fitted with a flat toothless bucket, to reveal the underlying orange gravel subsoil. Nothing of archaeological significance was uncovered during the investigation.
