At Gracedieu West 2, an area measuring 10m by 10m was excavated. An irregular-shaped cut feature was exposed. It was found to represent the remains of land clearance or a burnt tree bole and was not archaeological in nature. No further features were identified.
At Gracedieu West 3, an area measuring 10m by 10m was excavated. The sod and topsoil measured 0.3m in depth and lay above the natural orange-coloured stony clay. No archaeological features were exposed or identified.
