Monitoring took place of excavation works for the construction of an extension to a dwelling-house and licensed premises in the village of Faugheen, near Carrick-on-Suir, Co. Tipperary. Faugheen is classified as a medieval settlement. The works will be carried out in two phases. The first phase, of concern here, entailed building a shed, which measured 8.5m by 6m. No archaeological features were revealed in the course of monitoring groundworks.
