A licence extension was obtained to investigate a length of wall found during excavations in 2002 (Excavations 2002, No. 1360, 02E0530) prior to construction. This took place on 16 January 2003 with a single 2m by 1m trench. The excavation revealed that the wall was not archaeologically significant but was a facing of stone on a modern field boundary.
