The proposed development site at Drumod More, Co. Leitrim, consists of a large greenfield site on Lough Boffin, just outside the village of Drumod. The proposed development is to consist of 74 houses, 24 apartments, access and connection to the village sewerage scheme. Monitoring of topsoil-stripping associated with the first phase of the proposed development was carried out from the end of September to early October 2003. No archaeological features or finds were recovered during the course of the excavation.
