The proposed development is an extension to the cemetery at Carrowcrin, outside Dromahair. Testing was carried out on 5 September 2003. Four trenches were excavated across the site of the proposed development. Trenches 1, 3 and 4 measured 50m by 1.2m and Trench 2 measured 200m by 1.2. All were excavated to a depth of between 0.35 and 0.5m. No archaeological features or finds were uncovered during the course of the excavation
