Archaeological wade surveys were undertaken at five points along the route of a proposed water pipeline passing through the above townlands as part of the Newport Regional Water Supply Scheme. The works were undertaken in August 2011 on behalf of North Tipperary County Council. No archaeological sites or features were discovered during the course of the works.
