A request for further information associated with a mixed development on the outskirts of Tulla village, Co. Clare, required testing as part of an assessment. The proposed development was located adjacent to the site of an enclosure (CL035–021). Ten trenches were excavated throughout the site using a mechanical excavator. In the vast majority of trenches bedrock was located immediately below topsoil. Archaeological features were present in none of the trenches excavated.
