Testing was carried out at Ballyminaun Hill, Gorey, Co. Wexford, on 24 November 2005. The work was undertaken in advance of the construction of rising main routeway between a proposed water treatment plant and reservoir at Ballyminaun Hill. This development is part of the Wexford regional water supply scheme.
Three trenches were excavated and no archaeological material was noted. The testing concluded that the area had previously been disturbed through the construction of an approach roadway. There was no evidence of any remaining archaeological material in this area.

Editor’s note: Although this licence was issued during 2005, the report on the work was not received in time for inclusion in the bulletin of that year.
