My research is currently focused on the Late Neolithic - Chalcolithic - Early Bronze Age in northwestern Europe, particularly Ireland. I am particularly interested in relationships, between individuals and societies, periods of social flux and in striving to understand the ontological viewpoints of past societies. I direct a university accredited fieldschool www.prehistoricfieldschool.ie and run a small archaeological consultancy www.asparchaeology.ie.
